Meet OUR Pastor-Steve Creech

Pastor Steve is, first and foremost, a servant of Jesus Christ. Husband and Father of 2 beautiful daughters and Poppi to four amazing grandchildren. Servant Leader. Pastor and Preacher of the Gospel. Master Mental Health Coach. Master Life Coach. Advocate for the poor. Lover of Jesus and people.

He loves reading and studying leadership, along with early church disciplines. He loves the Word, strives to live the Word, and has a passion to preach and teach the Word. He is conservative in his religious beliefs and his politics. Steve teaches about what the Word says to the challenges of life. Utilizing his prior experience as a law enforcement officer, paramedic, and professional firefighter, Steve's messages are uplifting, encouraging, and transformational.

He is an alumnus of  Covington College, Moody Bible Institute, Liberty University, Rockbridge Seminary, Master's International School of Divinity and UNC-Chapel Hill. He has served churches in North Carolina and has worked for our international headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas. He also has a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University. 

Pastor Steve is very involved in our community as an advocate for the poor and marganilized. He serves on the Washington Salvation Army Advisory Council.  He also serves as the Vice-President of the Washington County Ministerial Association.

Steve has a special place in his heart for the wonderful people of the Plymouth Church considering this is his second assignment being at the Plymouth Church. He first pastored here from 1995-2005 and returned back home in 2011.
